The 33rd Palmetto Amateur was completed with some exceptional golf, excellent weather for all four days on a very difficult golf course.. 62 players teed off with Andrew Landry of Groves, Texas leading at -5 after the first three rounds with a 6 shot lead on his nearest competitior. At the conclusion of play Landry was the only golfer under par at -1. He won by a margin of 5 strokes over Zach Sucher of Mobile Alabama. Josh Gregory of Augusta, Georgia and Thomas Todd of Laurens SC tied for third at +5. Henrik Norlander of Augusta, GA had the low round of the day and the tournament with a sizzling 66. |
