Third Round Results from the Palmetto Amateur in Aiken SC

The third day of nearly ideal weather continued for the Palmetto Amateur.  The greens continue to be very firm and fast.  The field average scores have improved slightly each day (Round 1: 76.8, Round 2: 76.2 and Round 3: 74.9). After three rounds one player is below par, two are at +1 and one  at +2.   The cut fell at +22 over par with 62 players making the cut.   After the third round Andrew Landry of Groves, Texas is leading the tournament  at    -5, Thomas Todd of  Laurens, SC and former champion Ben Martin  of Greenwood, SC are at +1, and Crawford Reeves of Greenville, SC is +2.    All of the scores through the third round are attached to this email
