The first round of the 2009 Palmetto Amateur is complete. Two contestants shot three under on the par 70 Palmetto Golf Club course, Josh Gallman, a member of the University of South Carolina Upstate golf team and Hunter Slatton, who plays for the University of Alabama. The are followed closely by Jeff Knox, from Augusta, GA, with a 68 and four others at 69, Logan Blondell from Georgia Southern, Adam Cohan from Georgia Tech, Bill Jones from Mercer University and Ben Weatherly, from Melbourne, Australia. |
